Monthly Seminar Series

The Diabetic Cardiovascular Disease Center sponsors a year-round, monthly seminar series on topics related to diabetic cardiovascular disease and biomarker development. These seminars are coordinated with the Cardiovascular Research Seminar and held on the second Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in CSRB 801.  All DCDC members and their laboratory personnel are encouraged to attend.
Speakers are selected by the Center Directors and are drawn from among Center faculty to allow members to familiarize themselves with other ongoing projects within the Center. In addition, each academic year the Diabetic Cardiovascular Disease Center sponsors two outside guest speakers, with the goal of enriching our scientific environment by exposure to the newest, most exciting work in the field being carried out elsewhere. Visits by outside speakers will also include a day-long program of meetings with selected Washington University faculty and trainees within the Center.
